Week 11

This week was our Oktoberfest celebration. It was a really fun time. The kids were adorable.
This week we really started focusing on rhyming words. We also focused on the letter /t/.

This week, we estimated the measurements of a pumpkin and then measured to check our predictions. We looked a little more closely at pennies. We used magnifying glasses to inspect the pennies. We also described the penny and gave it identifiable characteristics. We practiced more with patterning too. We did a practice page and then we used ourselves to create patterns. We also discussed changing of the month by taking apart our calendar for October and putting up November.
